END-USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA) - OPENBILLOW PRESET PACK

Licence version 2 · Version 2, 3 November 2026. This is the full text of the preset pack licence. It covers the Presets only; the add-on itself is free software under GPL-3.0-or-later. See also the Terms of Service, Privacy and Company details.

This End-User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you (an individual, or one person acting for a company) ("you") and Pipelineflow Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16495997) ("the Licensor"). It covers the OpenBillow preset pack: the preset files (JSON), any material and look settings, preview images and documentation delivered with them (together, "the Presets").

The OpenBillow add-on itself is free software under GPL-3.0-or-later and is NOT covered by this Agreement. Nothing here limits your rights under that licence. The same applies to the free base presets (for example Heavy Smoke, Splash, Foam and Oil Fire) and their materials that are built into the add-on: they are part of the add-on, are licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later, and are not "the Presets" under this Agreement. Only the premium preset pack downloaded with a licence key is covered.

By downloading or using the Presets you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not download or use them.

1. GRANT OF LICENCE

When you buy the Presets (for example on Gumroad) you receive a licence key. Subject to this Agreement and while your key is valid, the Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the Presets. The licence covers the versions you have downloaded and any updates you download with your key.

The key belongs to one person. You must activate it in the OpenBillow add-on on each computer where you download the Presets or use support. A key may be activated on up to five (5) different computers in any period of twelve (12) months. Re-activating a computer you already activated does not count again, and applying Presets that are already in a project file does not need an activation. If you reach the limit, contact the Licensor, who may allow more activations where there is a good reason (for example a replaced or broken computer). You may use the Presets on your own render farm machines as long as the work is done by you or on your behalf. Other people in your studio or team need their own keys. For multi-seat terms, contact the Licensor.

2. PERMITTED USES

You may:

3. PROHIBITED USES

You may not:

4. OWNERSHIP

The Licensor keeps all copyright and other rights in the Presets. You are licensed to use them, not given ownership. Blender is a trademark of the Blender Foundation; OpenBillow is independent and not endorsed by it. Names of third parties in the Presets or their documentation are used only to describe compatibility.

5. SUPPORT AND UPDATES

A valid key entitles you to support through the add-on's support button (answered by email, on a reasonable-endeavours basis, for current versions of the add-on and Presets; no response time is guaranteed) and to preset updates the Licensor chooses to publish while the download service is running. The Licensor does not promise any particular future preset, feature or update schedule. Support and downloads may be limited per key to prevent abuse.

6. PRICE, REFUNDS AND YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

The price is shown at checkout and may change for future buyers. The sale is handled by the marketplace named at checkout (currently Gumroad), whose terms also apply to payment.

Refunds follow the law that applies to you. For consumers in the UK this means the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015: you normally have 14 days to cancel, but for digital content that right ends once the download or use begins with your agreement and acknowledgement that you lose it, which you give when you start the download. Separately, if the Presets are faulty or not as described, you keep your statutory right to a repair, replacement or refund. Where other consumer laws apply to you, their mandatory refund rights also remain. Apart from those, the Licensor may agree refunds case by case.

If a payment is refunded or reversed, the Licensor may disable the key. Your licence then ends, and you must stop using the Presets and delete your copies. Nothing in this Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. TERMINATION

This Agreement lasts until it is ended. The Licensor may end it at once, and disable your key, if you materially break it (in particular section 3), or if a payment is refunded or reversed. On termination you must stop using the Presets and delete all copies. Work you have already created with them stays yours (section 2). Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 continue after termination.

8. WARRANTY, LIABILITY AND WHAT THE LICENCE DOES NOT COVER

The Presets are digital content. They will be of satisfactory quality and as described, but simulation results depend on your scene, resolution, GPU and Blender version, and the Licensor does not promise any particular result, speed or memory use. Otherwise the Presets are provided "as is".

Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you use the Presets for business purposes, the Licensor is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss. Its total liability to you for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the Presets.

9. DATA

To check your key, deliver downloads and answer support, the Licensor processes your email address, licence key, a one-way hash of your computer's system identifier (the add-on does not send the identifier itself) and, if you send a support request, the details shown to you in its preview before sending. It uses them only for those purposes and under UK data protection law. Details are in the privacy notice on the OpenBillow website.
